MASINDI

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has called on young people to embrace patriotism so that they can actively contribute to the country’s development.

She made the call last week while presiding over the passing-out ceremony of more than 900 students who completed training in ideology, patriotism, and mindset change at Uganda Technical College, Kyema, in Masindi District.

The training was organised by the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps. “Uganda is the only country we have, and we must love it,” Nabbanja said, highlighting the nation’s rich natural resources.

The College requested the Prime Minister to support their efforts to get additional staff onto the government payroll.
