NAKASEKE
Hon. Alice Kaboyo, the Minister of State for Luwero-Rwenzori in the Office of the Prime Minister, last week commissioned two classroom blocks as well as water harvesting and sanitary facilities at Kapeeka Primary School in Nakaseke District.
She asked the school authorities to protect the new and old structures and put them to good use. The facilities were constructed by the Office of the Prime Minister through the Ministry of Luwero-Rwenzori.
The school, which will mark its 100th anniversary in 2027, has a population of over 700 learners.
Hon. Kyofatogabye Kabuye, the Minister of State for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, also attended the event and stressed the transformational role the school has played in the District for nearly 100 years.
He asked the people to continue taking advantage of the institution to educate their children.
