KAGADI
The Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs Jennifer Namuyangu recently presided over a baraza in Kagadi District. The event, which took place at Kabuga Health Center III in Muhorro sub-county, was organised by the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Office of the Prime Minister.
‘Barazas‘ are gatherings that bring together leaders and members of the general public to discuss service delivery-related issues in communities.
Many of the participants raised concerns about the state of service delivery in various fields, including education, water and sanitation and health, during the event. Some people said public health facilities continue to suffer drug shortages.
The Minister, who was the chief guest at the event, asked the District technical officials to prepare detailed reports on service delivery in the areas the people complained about.
Namuyangu implored the District to improve service delivery.
