Alan farm, an agricultural high technology farm engaged in cattle keeping, has offered to transfer cattle breeding technology to Uganda to improve milk production.

Alan farm is located in Sinistra, 167, Via Migliara 51 between the city of Rome and Naples.  The farm uses technology mostly and each cattle produces 52 liters of milk daily.

During her working visit to Italy, the Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja went to Alan farm to find ways of partnership to improve Uganda’s local cattle breeds in milk Production.

Sergio Pompa, the Chairman of the Breeders said that they were ready to offer training to Ugandans in cattle breeding but also donated 1,000 doses of artificial insemination to Uganda to improve on milk production.

The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja was impressed by the work being done and the quality of cattle kept at Alan Farm.

Nabbanja noted that the partnership will help in transforming the local cattle in Uganda to start producing more milk.  She added that the technology being used would greatly improve Ugandans farms and increase profitability.

The Premier was flanked by the Executive Director Uganda Investment Authority Dr. Robert Mukiza, Uganda’s Deputy Head of Mission in Italy Alimary Kemerwa and other technical staff.
