KAMPALA
In a meeting that sat this afternoon at the Office of the Prime Minister, Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) Secretary General, Robert Kwesiga, shared highlights on how Uganda Red Cross works with the Office of the Prime Minister, as an auxiliary to Government.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister, Nr. Alex Kakooza emphasized how Red Cross come in handy especially in preparedness and in the event of disasters. He reiterated Government’s commitment to working with URCS in delivering timely life saving humanitarian support to people affected by disasters in Uganda.
