The Government of Uganda continues to receive donations for the COVID-19 Fund under the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), to beef up the efforts geared towards the fight against the spread of the COVID-19.

The latest donation was received yesterday, 13th August, 2020, from SOGEA-SATOM, an international building and civil engineering company, already operating in Uganda, and in 22 other African countries.

The donation, which included 5000 medical masks, 700 litters of sanitizer, and 1000 bars of soap, was delivered by a team of staff from SOGEA-Satom, led by Mr. Pierre Le-Nouvel.

While receiving the donation, Mr. Maurice Ekwang, the acting administrator of the COVID fund at the OPM, thanked SOGEA-SATOM Management for sacrificing to support government in this COVID attack, and promised that the donation will be utilized in the most efficient manner.

Mr. Pierre thanked government for the continued fight against the COVID-19, and pledged that SOGEA-SATOM will continue to stand with government in these challenging times of the pandemic.
